The outer housing is polymer, while the internals and structural components of the lower are reinforced by Steel. The lower is built to handle thousands and thousands of rounds and repeatedly withstand heat cycles.

MILD, tiny modification needed for K size clones but this thing RUNNNNSSS. I have a cheap(ish) MKE AP5-p – the SP5K clone from Turkey. I ordered this and at first it did not work, was getting light primer strikes, so I got a hold of Nick and he worked with me until we figured out the problem — cut the firing pin spring 1/4 – 1/3 off. It will not change the performance of the regular grip, but will make your MP5 clone with this grip go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrt in the super-semi mode. Outstanding product from an outstanding company that gives above and beyond outstanding customer service.

The first thing I noticed right out of the box was the quality. This thing feels as high quantity as the lower that came on my HK sp5k-pdw. Every component is flawless. The fire selector is very crisp so you know exactly which mode you are in. The fitment was perfect. I don’t know if I just got lucky with mine but no adjustments were needed. The trigger is an upgrade from the HK trigger. I was getting light primer strikes on my sp5k but it took all of 3 minutes to clip the spring. I thought my sp5k was fun to shoot before the super saftey. I was wrong!
